For the 7th edition of the Talk A Bit conference, we are looking for original papers related to this year's main theme:
Be advised that the submissions pertaining to novel research and/or development will NOT be accepted and thus we recommend that the submissions be considered as follows:
Where an arguable opinion on an emerging topic or issue is presented, in order to convince the audience that the said opinion is valid and worth listening to.
Which consist on reporting and evaluating existing literature on a particular topic. In other words, to explain the current developments in the topic's area of research, existing problem-solving techniques used by researchers in that field, and finally a comparison of various methods/solutions.
The accepted papers will be published in the Talk A Bit 2019 website and disclosed in the conference's booklet, which will be handed out to the guests attending the event.
Note: All submissions must be in English. Only original papers that are NOT previously published or concurrently submitted in other conferences or journals will be considered for approval.
Papers are limited to a minimum of 6 pages and a maximum of 8 pages, including figures, tables, and references. The papers must be in the same format as that in the final published proceedings, i.e., it must use the IEEE two-column conference style, US Letter (8.5 inch x 11 inch) paper size, and 10pt text font size.
We highly recommend using either the Word or Latex templates available in the IEEE website to format your paper: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html If you choose to use another word processing system, it is your responsibility to ensure it conforms to the specifications.
All papers MUST be submitted via the EasyChair paper management system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=tab2019
The Talk A Bit editorial team will use a peer-review process to review each submission. The review process will be typical of high-quality IEEE and ACM conferences. Papers that are clearly not appropriate, whether in quality or scope, will receive an early decision.
It should be noted that the quality of the paper is the primary consideration, and is not synonymous with length. The length of a submission should be tuned to the nature of the topic addressed.
